Sports and Massage Therapy

Michelle Eichhorn

My previous life was in Healthcare working for the NHS for 20 years as a staff Nurse. I have always focused on leading an active + Healthy lifestyle and wanted to incorporate my knowledge in nursing to help people in another way. I tried a taster day in sports massage and wanted to take it further. I started my journey with the Level 3 ITEC Sports Massage Therapy qualification and haven't looked back.

Why Massage ?

If you're stressed out and sore, moving poorly due to pain or even in pain due to poor mobility, you may think the only thing that helps is to take over the counter medication to get through the day. You don't have to suffer and bear it,

massage therapy can help. By using different pressures, movements and techniques to manipulate muscles and other tissues in the body, sports massage can be beneficial to most people, you don't have to do sports to benefit from massage therapy, anyone can benefit irrespective of age or level of fitness.

Massage slows down your nervous system, releases stress tension, provides relief from symptoms and supports your wellness
